Pet Photography to Beat Winter Blues

January 6, 2015

How have you been dealing with winter blues so far? It’s cold and gloomy outside and one of the things to do in order to overcome seasonal depression is to spend more time with our pets. If you have one, you are lucky – you can reduce stress and lower your blood pressure any time you want and need.

If you don’t have a pet, here is for you a couple of pictures of my rescued buddy Freckles, a mix of Brittany, Border Collie,  Australian shepherd and might be something else. I always amused the way he looks at me. I have a feeling that he is much wiser than I. By the way. He has one blue and one brown eye but unfortunately, you cannot see the difference because I took pictures with my iPhone.

‘I’ve seen a look in dogs’ eyes, a quickly vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts.‘–John Steinbeck

Do you agree? Are you smiling right now?

Well, just look at this face, and then breathe, smile and be happy. Can you do that?
