And today, I would love to introduce you with my favorite One Minute Meditation by Dr. John Douillard to reduce anxiety and help with insomnia. This 30 second breathing technique so called Ujjayi breathing or bellows breath helps pump oxygen into your brain and calm your nervous system. And it means it will help you reduce stress and anxiety and even sleep better (watch video below)
Photo Meditation with Healing Color Purple
Sit comfortable, close your eyes and get ready for 30 seconds – 30 times of deep inhale and deep exhale through your nose:
– strong deep breathe in through your nose
– strong deep breath out through your nose
Keep on this bellows breath exercise for 30 seconds (30 times)
Stop deep strong breathing and sit quietly for 30 seconds with eyes closed.
Slowly open your eyes. How are you feeling?
You can go back to your daily routine or you can sit for a couple of minutes feeling relaxed and calm. Just look at this floral mandala with healing color purple (macro photograph of the rose), breathe, smile and be happy.
Don’t forget to practice this breathing technique at least 3 – 5 times daily to reduce stress, calm your mind, sleep better.
